Shane Shebest is an artist and photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. His work explores the relationship between light, memory, and place, with a focus on suburban environments, music spaces, and quiet moments of human connection. Through the lens, he is interested in how atmosphere shapes emotional experience.

His interdisciplinary practice bridges art and science. Past work in computational chemistry and virtual reality informs his perception and image-making, which is further developed through sustained critique. He will continue working as an Ophthalmic Scribe/Technician, where his clinical experience informs his understanding of vision, perception, and care.
